Wondering how this process works?

First, Let’s Talk

The first step is reaching out to us via our website form or a phonecall. We will get some basic information from you, and talk a bit about your project. If you would like to move forward, we would schedule an onsite consultation.

At this first meeting, our goal is to set the stage for our Pre-construction process. We want to make sure that our process is right for you and your project. We will also explain the PSA (Professional services agreement) and how that enables us to provide the best experience to you.

Design

At this point, we begin the pre-construction process. We will sign the PSA, with a deposit. A project that has been designed and planned well saves you money and stress during construction. You will be given access to our online Project Management software at this point. All selections can be made here, and all important communication will take place here. We will develop a clear scope of work with specifications and your selections.

We will finalize plans and drawings, help you make selections, and specify exactly what we will be using to build your new home, or transform your current one. We will line up showrooms, designers, architects, samples, etc as needed.

Construction Agreement

With our detailed scope complete, and selections made, we will create a construction agreement (contract), to be signed by you and a representative of Bigfoot Builders. A copy of the contract documents will be provided. It can also be viewed in our online system. We will confirm a project schedule so you can make any arrangements necessary. Materials with long lead times will be ordered in preparation for the start date.

The Fun Part!

Finally! Our crew and our trusted family of subcontractors will respect you property and your neighbors during construction. We will update the project schedule in Buildertrend (our online system) and if you do not live on site, we will update the daily log, including pictures of progress. This makes it easy for you to check in on your project and stay informed, at your convenience. You can even download our app to your phone.

Almost Done…

As the project nears completion, we will go through the project close out process. We want to insure you are happy with the work that was done. We will walk you through use of any systems we have installed, like heating, cooling, or appliances.
